@ChrisCotillo Having Suarez in the second game makes more sense because then you don't have to clear a roster spot until then. Plus, you also have the 27th man to play with in at least the second game.

And that same month (April) he was also in a hitting slump. That says to me he was probably playing through some physical ailment. At this point, there is no perfect fit. Suarez gives the Sox some desperately needed HR power, average defense, and yes he whiffs.

@tylermilliken_ I know you are not a fan if the Sox signing Eugenio Suarez. I agree his strikeout rate sucks. But his defense is not as bad as everyone says. If you isolate his defense by month, he had one bad month in April. He was at about zero OAA the rest of the season. 1/2
