@jluishd73@LorenaR97671 Albeit 50 years ago. But that also meant they were provided for. If you don’t have kids who’s going to be paying the taxes in 30 years time to pay your pension or your care costs? Women have been sold a feminist fantasy that is short term not long term. Sleepwalking to disaster.
@JinkyCostanza@SickOfEverythi6 Where they build ferries that are overpriced, late, and don’t fit in the ports they’re intended for; where corruption in the ruling party is rife but turned a blind eye to; where the British Empire evil is nothing to do with the millions of Scot’s that’s participated in it. Ffs.
@JinkyCostanza@SickOfEverythi6 Yes. Where they have their own TV channel for a language that only 50,000 people speak; are self governed but find a way to blame England (or Westminster) for every failure but take credit for every success…
@BarryPierce More significantly, if you’re getting on at Chancery Lane going west the empty carriages already filled up at Bank, so if you’re hoping to get a seat it’s more like No Chancery Lane.
@dontdelay This is a failure of tax planning on your part. Is that how you deal with things like income tax? Wait until you know what’s due before looking to find the money?
@PeterMcCormack@MarinaPurkiss (2) If you have assets which are underperforming or declining in value what sort of wealth-creating, job-creating, capital-risking entrepreneur are you?
@PeterMcCormack@MarinaPurkiss I'd love to provide longer answers to your questions but am limited by X's character limit. My short answer (1) is that most of your questions assume no/poor tax planning on your part. If you are surprised by your tax liability each year HMRC won't be sympathetic. Plan ahead.
