@RachelReevesMP@DeborahMeaden Seriously the best thing you can do to help farmers, is sort out the increase on NIC/Minimum wage and scrub the crazy inheritance tax changes!
Until then, I really don’t think you can claim you are helping farmers.
@JamesCleverly I really couldn’t agree more. The more we highlight differences the more division and hatred we create. The anarchist amongst us thrive on this - don’t give them the platform, and let’s get back to common sense.
@Ed_Miliband@mtpennycook We are also exposed to because your policies & other previous governments, moved to a ‘just in time’ fuel reserves policy - a diabolical decision! We need resilience in our energy planning. My grandfather knew this in WW2, as he made sure he had available 3-4 forms of energy!
@Ed_Miliband@mtpennycook You are talking nonsense again. The solution lies in a balanced, energy resilient strategic plan, of which renewables are an important part, but not the full solution. And not the hollowing out of our fuel reserves.
@LondonLabour@Ed_Miliband If you vote Labour don’t be surprised if you get smashed, with more taxes. £4000 per family in real terms tax increase, in costs, since they came into power!
@LondonLabour@Ed_Miliband You are talking nonsense again. Millions of homes can’t use heat source or air source pumps & you have hollowed out our energy reserves by the nieve decisions you are taking. We need balanced solutions that can cope in extreme situations like wars & major cold / wind periods!
@piersmorgan Hi and keep in mind that anyone with any commercial nouse, knows any ‘high risk’ appointments, are always made subject to vetting clearance. This is standard practice. No excuses. His lack of real life experience, is really concerning as he clearly walked straight into this!
@ITVNewsPolitics Honestly will you just stop & listen to the ‘reality’. Clean home grown fuel isn’t resilient in extreme weather conditions (severe cold/snow/wind) & it can’t be stored in batteries, for anymore than a few days. We need energy resilience & that includes oil & gas right now!
@Ed_Miliband Stop backing a ‘one trick’ pony. We need energy resilience across the full spectrum of available resources - now. You are leading us down a dark alley whereby if the ‘solar torch’ fails, we have no alternatives. Please think about this more logically.
@afneil Andrew this is what you get when only two previous Defence Ministers of the last 12, had any relevant military experience … (& one of them resigned), as well as a Treasury department that is far too powerful. All fixable with good leadership and time!
@BBCBreakfast@BBCPolitics Somewhat of a distraction strategy as the price is shooting up, mainly due to lack of global reserves. A just in time oil and gas system, leaves us hugely exposed. You mad this worse with you ‘mad dash’ and the further hollowing out of our reserves.
@Ed_Miliband pause this mad rush & do a full & independent resilience energy review, as you & previous governments have hollowed out our energy reserves (oil/gas/other forms ) before we suffer greatly. The nation will not forget that this was on ‘your watch’. It always been about a balance
