At around 0730 on 9th April 1917, Edward Thomas was killed.
The remaining blank pages of his diary are creased by the pressure-wave from a German shell.

@kramawoodgin Swallet following all this rain could be good, just west of Grindleford off the Foolow road. Kind of place to bump into Samuel Beckett and gravity.
The renewed threat to right to camp in Dartmoor reinforces urgent need for new statutory rights of access. The physical & mental health benefits of reconnecting with nature are overwhelming & shouldn’t be blocked at whim of wealthy landowners @Right_2Roam@EveryonesStars
Salmon Farming is factory farming and has all the problems of the land based version - plus poisoning of wildlife and an incredible ‘death in custody’ rate. 14 million Salmon died in custody on Scottish farms this year already. Our video exposé shows just how disgusting conditions are - it’s not a wonder that so many die - it’s a wonder that so many live.
Don’t buy smoked salmon and this abuse will stop.

A copy of the missing Auerbach to add to the collection dropped off at the studio with kindness this morning. The joy of second hand books are the hidden gems - newspaper cuttings. Absolute joy.
