@antirez These are excellents points. To counter, separate processes / micro services also gives potentially better reuse and composability. Eg perhaps a contributor to the success of redis is that it is a standalone service and not just a C library?

@gafferongames Well it means the ownership meta data survives even after the game shuts down; which does seem better than losing it. Perhaps that will never have any more utility than fan sites enumerating inventories of games gone by, or perhaps game necromancers will do more with it...

@gafferongames Is it a block chain exclusive problem though? There's games with dedicated servers which are now shut down, those games and their micro purchased buffs/skins etc aren't playing again either unfortunately.

@b0rk If using >> for bit manipulation be sure to take notice of the sign extension behaviour that applies to signed numbers. Not very obvious and an easy hidden bug.

The more people you vaccinate, the higher their share of hospitalisations, but the *total* number in hospital is a fraction of what it would otherwise be
