I’ve discovered that many people do not understand the neuroscience of addiction (behavioral vs. chemical). Online gambling addictions will soon trump porn as the most addictive habit in the lives of young men. This is what I mean👇🏾
Howdy, car mystery fans!
I've long relied on the "Dave's Car ID Service" hashtag to search reader requests, but of late I've noticed a sudden drop in thread readership and requests.
My hunch: it's largely due to X's crusade to end the use of hashtags. Why Elon has so much vehemence against them, well, your guess is as good as mine. But I've had many people report they are no longer seeing good ol' Dave's Car ID Service in their timelines, and I can only conclude that's because of algorithmic deboosting of posts containing hashtags.
It's been a bit frustrating for me, mainly because the slowdown in ID request. My car ID enterprise is a personal labor of love, something I look forward to every week. And I like to think it's a palate cleanser for readers; a genuine noble use of social media, something that brings people together to share family treasures for fun, regardless of their politics.
I'm sure, like me, the X algorithm stuffs your timeline with endless, cheap, recycled engagement slop. I suppose my car ID stuff is itself a type of engagement bait, but mindless "Do you agree??" slop it is not. I put a lot of time and effort into car IDs, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. In my mind it's the type of content X should boost rather than deboost, and it'd be a shame if it faded away because of algorithmic throttling over a dumb hashtag.
The NFL changed my life—professionally and spiritually. The 2000 Ravens showed what happens when character, chemistry, and competence unite. Grateful for the teammates, coaches, and mentors who shaped my faith and my future. Thank you, NFL and the 2000 Ravens. #Built4Winning
Important report from The Free Press interviewing one of the Christians targeted by Islamists in Nigeria.
Over 7K Christians have been murdered in just 2025.
What Jimmy Kimmel said was gross, irresponsible and false. A sane company should absolutely punish a host for abusing their platform in that way. The government should stay out of it and has no role in policing such speech.
Let’s separate two things. Jimmy Kimmel is an unfunny mediocrity and his take on Charlie Kirk was tasteless, stupid and factually vacant. At the same time the chairman of the FCC should not be programming late night television. That’s a violation of the first amendment.
The AG's of both Florida and the America demonstrated stunning ignorance — or perhaps blatant disregard — about free speech and the Constitution they took oaths to defend.
Even fellow conservatives pounced on Bondi, the principled/consistent ones anyway.

This is wrong! I completely disagree with this woman's view on Charlie Kirk, but she EXPLICITLY and REPEATEDLY condemned violence. Why ruin her life? It is okay to reject Charlie Kirk's views. It is not okay to say he should be killed for holding them. And this teacher agrees!
University of Nebraska at Kearney's new “Ecological Validation Model” makes grades and deadlines negotiable by identity. Equity? No—just lower standards.
