“For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.” (1 Thessalonians 4:14)
The resurrection of Christ changes everything. Everything.
Don’t lose hope. The risen Lord is making all things new...
“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)
Strength.
Song.
Salvation.
Only Jesus. Look to him, friends, and fear not.
Look to Jesus.
If you only believe what makes sense to you, or what feels right to you, then your ultimate authority is you. Your thoughts and emotions have absolute veto power.
But what if there are things you don’t know or can’t imagine? What if your feelings aren’t always right? What then?
