Joe Biden had a bad debate. Approximately 765 stories and opinion pieces in the NYTimes.
Donald Trump had 300 bank accounts closed because of evidence of money laundering. Nothing to see here, says the same NYTimes.
New reporting reveals Meta cut a secret deal with Louisiana Republicans to build a $50,000,000,000 data center.
The data center is anticipated to consume 7 times as much energy as the city of New Orleans.

Last year, Trump’s company collected at least $125 million from foreign sources.
One of those payments was $2 million from Base Group, a South Korean company with a major financial stake in Korea Aluminium.
Korea Aluminium has been fighting trade penalties imposed by the U.S. Commerce Department. As recently as last month, Trump’s Commerce Department was considering additional tariffs that could directly affect the company’s bottom line.
At the same time, Base Group, the company’s lead investor, paid Trump’s private business $2 million.
The payment appeared in Trump’s financial disclosure with only a vague description: a nonrefundable development fee connected to a letter of intent. The Trump Organization says it involves a potential golf course project.
Maybe it does. That does not make the conflict disappear.
So let’s be clear about what happened: A foreign company with millions of dollars riding on decisions by the Trump Administration paid Donald Trump’s business $2 million.
This is exactly why Presidents have always separated themselves from their businesses. The American people should never have to wonder whether official decisions are being shaped by the public interest or the President’s personal profits.
And this is not a one time thing. Trump’s company collected at least $125 million from foreign sources last year. He continues to maintain financial ties to nearly 30 ventures with foreign partners while overseeing the trade and foreign policies that can determine whether those businesses succeed or fail.
The President should not be collecting millions from foreign companies whose fortunes can be shaped by his own Administration.
This is corruption on a staggering scale, and we cannot allow it to become normal.

Meet the senior staff running Mitch McConnell's DC office. You pay their salaries. You're entitled to know what they're keeping from us.
Let them know how you feel.
Dear Jim,
Respectfully, fuck off. NO ONE is attacking the security of our elections more than your dear leader. And he’s not deporting “criminal aliens.” He’s killing 52yr old Latino grandfathers and deporting 82yr old Latino grandmothers. And NO ONE is engaged in more government fraud & public corruption than your dear leader. Trump is EVERYTHING you once told me you opposed. Shame on you for selling out.
Sincerely,
Your Former Congressional Colleague
@YetiBlanc_@jeremytache You and Jeremy can see the big picture, realize a single game or series can’t break up the Hee Haw Three….
Now, if this was October, all bets are off…
Democrats should fight fire with fire. If there’s no proof of life, Kentucky is required to have a snap election and Thomas Massie should be able to run for his seat. Mitch McConnell called himself the Grim Reaper, make sure the real one hasn’t visited him. Otherwise, it’s fraud.
🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day!
Before cable news, there were Saturday morning cartoons. "No More Kings" — Schoolhouse Rock's very first America Rock episode — taught a generation how we fired a king and built a free country.
Some lessons never get old. 🎆

Ken Paxton says he often doesn’t want to be in Texas and prefers spending time in California, where he grew up, instead:
“I like places in California, even though I don’t like to admit that I go to California, but it’s beautiful.”
Stop telling me to vote third party in the midterms.
Not this time.
The priority is removing power from this corrupt, pedo protecting, authoritarian, war-hungry administration. That means helping Democrats win enough seats to investigate, block, expose and impeach these people.
Please, please please listen to this man! Social Security does not contribute to the National Debt! Some of the Surplus was actually loaned to the government to pay for services. This is a very easy fix.
The Social Security surplus, intentionally built up since 1982, is being depleted sooner than they thought back then because of income inequality.
Because no person making more than $182,000 pays another penny in Social Security.
Iran v. New Zealand ended around 8pm here in Los Angeles.
At 10:07pm, Iran players were on a bus bound for the airport, where they'd fly back to Tijuana. World Cup organizers wouldn't let them stay and recover.
