@TheStatsSaint You were removed from a competition for breaking the rules of a competition, absolutely standard punishment with many precedents. £220m fine/the cheating didn't help us are both straw man arguments.
@talkSPORT It's a standard punishment that if you break the rules of a knock out competition you get expelled from that competition see Swindon in the EFL trophy this season, Stockton town in their playoffs last season. It's not a £200m fine, that's a straw man argument
@greenysmhc@happyhoppy66 Crazy how widespread the belief is that we complained because we list lost. Southampton were charged before the 1st leg. Both legs were played under protest.
Are we allowed to mention yet that with Tommy injured we are looking extremely light up top. Time for a sarmiento masterclass? Otherwise in 2 years it will be forgotten he even existed #boro
@liamtribb It's from a quote (maybe by Joseph Pease) 'Yarm was, Stockton is, Middlesbrough shall be' as it was growing to be the most important town in Teesside
@CraigGott5@Jordwalker19 His job is to help the team win, which we are. Only Cov and Ipswich scored more than us this season. Would he and us like him to be on 15 goals, of course, but his defensive work and making space for others to score is just as important at the moment
@JacquiOatley I think most Boro fans can see why personally it is good for him like you said. The thing we are angry about is his preaching that he is all about loyalty, the club are a family and need to stick together and then to completely abandon that at the first sniff of something else.
@centre_right_ People with epilepsy aren't allowed to fight in wars, are we banning them from voting?
Brain development/intelligence argument was made about women in the 20th century and about working class men in the 19th century. Always by the wealthy classes who want to protect their power
@paul_c_watson His whole aura is chaotic. Came to Boro as a winger, played centre forward for equitorial guinea but was our first choice right back for the majority of his time with us.
@greenysmhc Whoever your manager and chairman are out can't be bothered to check again. We have been worse than you the last month. At least you're in the playoffs
Last season at this exact stage we were terrible and then played Norwich who battered us for until sainz got 🔴 then they sat off and let us get our confidence Let's hope Stoke have done the same. We go on a similar run as last season and we get in the playoffs #boro#utb
