🚨 IF THEY CAN’T PASS AN AUDIT, THEY CAN’T RAISE YOUR TAXES.
I’ve launched a petition to make this law:
❌ Fail audit = no tax rises and no bigger budget.
❌ Fail two years running = those responsible cannot stand for re-election.
Politicians should not be allowed to demand more of your money when they cannot properly account for the money they already have.
If you agree, please sign and share my petition.

Good advice from a Veterans group on Faceache.
⚠️ WARNING ORDER TO ALL ARMED FORCES VETERANS ⚠️
Stand by and check your pension.
The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that historic errors have been found in the administration of some Armed Forces pensions, particularly under the older AFPS 75 and AFPS 05 schemes. As a result, some veterans have been told they have been overpaid, while others may have been underpaid.
If you receive a letter from Veterans UK claiming you owe money, don’t panic and don’t assume the calculation is correct. The errors were made by the pension administrators, not by the pensioners.
Take the following action:
• Request a full breakdown of your pension calculation.
• Ask whether National Insurance Modification (NIM) has been applied to your pension and, if so, how it was calculated.
• Request a complete history of your pension payments and any adjustments made since your retirement.
• If your State Pension started after you retired, ask for a detailed explanation of any changes made to your Armed Forces pension at that point.
• If you disagree with the calculation, ask about the Armed Forces Pension Scheme’s formal dispute procedure before agreeing to repay any money.
Even if you have not received a letter, it is worth writing to Veterans UK and requesting:
• A copy of your original pension award.
• A pension payment history.
• Confirmation of which Armed Forces Pension Scheme you belong to.
• Confirmation of whether National Insurance Modification has been applied.
• A detailed explanation of how your current pension has been calculated.
Knowledge is your best defence. Check your paperwork, keep copies of everything, and don’t ignore any correspondence from Veterans UK.
Please share this post with fellow veterans. One share could save someone from unnecessary worry—or help them discover they have been underpaid.
