December Update ‼️

Happy New Year everyone! Sorry for the late post. This is my December monthly update. For any one that is new here, my first week I tried only using positive EV betting and I lost $85. Took a break on December 9 and I switched back to arbitrage. I wasn’t on as much as I would’ve liked due to the holidays and all. However, I was still able to rack up more than 1k profit which still isn’t bad and I was able to recuperate some of my losses from my first week. My goals for this new year is to provide more updates (weekly) with some tips and tricks on using @OddsJam. I’ll be posting some pre and live arbitrage plays as well. Let me know what ya’ll want to see in the future and ask me any questions.

Current Update ‼️

This my December month so far using Positive EV betting. Started off ok but noticed a little bit of downhill. Couple reasons, I tried to experiment on which devig method is the best to use. In my opinion, the most profit I’ve made was from worst case which is my first 5 days. The last three days I used best case. Also to mentioned, I used pinnacle as my main book of source. You can find and edit these filters on top right side on web version of OddsJam. In my opinion after a week of positive EV betting, volume is still the key and trust the system. It’s also takes good amount of patience. For me, I like arbitrage way better and I know I’ve said that Im doing this for a month but my passion is not there so moving forward I’ll be going back to arbitrage. Taking a day off today and start back again tomorrow. I hope this helps with anyone looking to learn more with positive EV betting but if y’all have questions with anything don’t hesitate to hit the DM’s.

Side note: starting arbitrage again with the bankroll of $2000 spread across 6-8 sports books and will be opening up Prophet X as well. Let’s end the year on a good note!

Welcome to December! This is my final profit for the month of November. Safe to say this is by far my best month ever with sports betting. I couldn’t have done this without the help of @OddsJam. The last few days I wasn’t able to do much arbs but did try positive EV. This month of December, I’m going to mix it up a little bit and focus the whole month on positive EV bets. I’m just experimenting on how well I do with positive EV betting. My bankroll will start with $2000 and I’ll be updating y’all in two weeks. Thank you again for everyone’s support and follow. Took my first big L with arbitrage yesterday. Like I said before I’ll be as transparent as I can be. Let’s look at my month and let’s dive into the good day, bad day and what exactly happened yesterday.

The good ( lucky ) day.
- As you can see there are days that I profited well over $500. So what happened here is that I placed my bet on one sportsbook, however on the other sportsbook either the line changed dramatically that I’m only making very little profit or no profit at all.
So there are couple approaches here that I made
1. Shop on other sports books and check for the line and see if the line is better.
2. I waited for the line to change back so I can make the profit.
3. Depending on the game and the odds you placed it, I just leave it as it and hope for the best. (only applies for live arb) For pre match arb, there are times the odds is so skewed and the cash out option is higher than the bet you placed. When this happens, I usually just cash out.

The bad ( day )
- Similar to the good day I take the same approach, the bad day happens when the bet doesn’t hit. However, there was one day that I was on the red but I kept grinding and eventually I was still able to make some profits on that day. So what happened yesterday, I had two arbitrage that didn’t go well because the line either change or the prop was completely gone. I had a chance to make an arbitrage for both to profit $100-$200 but I didn’t take it. I was watching the game and there was a higher chance that my original bet was going to hit. I knew this because on most sport books it was well favored to win. Well, this is sports gambling and anything can change with a blink of an eye but basically down to the wire, my bet lost. 😭

What did we learn here, my emotions took over and I got greedy. I had the chance to profit but wanted the bigger payout. Sometimes this works and sometimes it does not. It’s a reminder that sports gambling is a marathon and we all want to see the greens daily. I should’ve never let my emotions took over. Next time, we’ll be more smart about it.

Well sorry for the long post but let’s keep the bad days behind us. Today is brand new day and let’s keep grinding! Thank you @oddsjam yall really change my life.

Side Note:
1. DK finally limited me. They caught me.
2. Starting today, I’ll be utilizing positive EV+ and will keep track of it as well.
