@JT3228440527570 I hear u luv, ur on it. I have 4 kids, can’t find anywhere to go to leave home. All mining companies have stopped all new mine developments (15 years for approvals). We are cooked. We run our own manufacturing company and it’s never been harder.
@australian I remember the 40deg days in steel demountable school rooms. Phew! We struggled back then and some days the teacher would just drop pencils and head out under a tree. Can’t image a school room like that today, thanks to technology and cheap power.
@TimjboAU I admire Moira’s dedication to the Libs, if she finds herself disendorsed it will be a weight off her. There r other parties that she would b better suited to. Libs suck balls.
@australian I was a branch chairman for Libs in 2016, I called a vote at a branch meeting. Show hands if u would rather Turnbull or Hawke (yes I know not a real option) as Lib leader. 59/1 the Lib members voted for Hawke over Turnbull. We hated him.
@JEChalmers Except those paying your new $78B in tax take, which is pretty much every single worker.
Why is it being in labor means you never have to say the truth?
@RyanBurns_WA@SecessionWA When I first heard about WA wanting to secede I thought it was a silly idea (as a former Eastern stater).
As Canberra has continued to decline into a self serving entity and understanding what it would mean to be self governing I've become a raving convert.
While I've long been negative on the LNP I'll certainly congratulate them if they have good policies. This is very good to hear from the former PM and Federal leader of the Liberals.
Now if only Angus Taylor can repeat the same sentiments.
For those with a grudge against their own country, it’s sustained mass migration, especially from countries with quite different cultures, that’s the surest and swiftest way to change and punish a place that’s irredeemably tainted by unforgivable sin. This is done in order to dilute and eventually to extinguish the Anglo-Celtic core culture and the Judaeo-Christian foundational ethos (which is actually what attracts migrants to the Anglosphere) that today’s left-establishment finds so suffocating and judgmental. And it’s to encourage migrants to “other” themselves by funding ethnic activism under Orwellian slogans like “our diversity is our unity” or “our diversity is our strength”.
In this regard, migrants from Islamic countries are especially useful, because belief in a global caliphate, and the conviction that it’s the Koran rather than the legislature that validates law, starts to make pluralist democracy unworkable. To green-left, cultural-Marxist governments, mass migration from the “global south” is not a problem; it’s the plan. It’s the way for supposedly unjustly rich countries to atone for their white privilege and to apologise to poorer ones by becoming more like them.

@PirateJohnII I don’t know a single business that manufactures who isn’t looking to offshore. Australia is cooked for entrepreneurs and startups. I’m not giving up but it’s become so tight on margins it’s turned into a love job instead of being my retirement plan.
Dai we started manufacturing in 2016, still going today despite our governments best efforts to make it as hard as possible. HR rules, Australian retailers monopolies, power costs, Tax TaX TAX, regulations and ZERO assistance.
I have to note that Austrade has helped us a lot, then Albo went and cut their budget. Ahhg.
We won both state and National export awards, not because we are killing it in Australia and then exported. No, because if we didn't find export markets we would never have survived only selling in Australia.
"Australia made" in Canberra is just a virtue statement with no substance.
@JT3228440527570 Every gun fires differently, if your hot desking a gun you have no idea how it's been treated or where it will fire.
If you change your brand of bullet you have to recalibrate your sights again.
Only a desk bound public servant could have come up with this idea.
@australian Big super are balls deep into renewable power to save the planet. Then invest in AI which consumes enormous amounts of power that renewables will never deliver.
Really makes my head scratch?
