@ecobee I just installed my unit with voice control. I could not get the unit to recognize one of the wires (g). I then manually selected the G in the next step and went on. The AC did come on after I was done so I think at least the basic function is working. How do I confirm
@ecobee Thanks for your help. One additional question. I originally bought this to install in our main AC which is a carrier infinity with an Edge non wifi thermostat. I should have taken it apart. There were only two wires. I see you have a program with carrier. Is there a solution?
@ecobee The W wire was originally on the W2 setting but the system told me I had to have both the Y and W wiring in the 1 position. I am assuming it is ok if the system is working. I can pull the unit off and take a picture if needed.
@ecobee Serial: 521764213997, [email protected] I installed the wires exactly in these section in the ecobee and it wouldn't acknowledge the G wire. I pushed it manually and then continued. The system then went through the start up and seems to be working normally.
