The ire of the coach is bcoz Foster’s succession was rooted in mediocrity & founded in nepotism. AB fans hate anything that undermines meritocracy and the pursuit of excellence

@SpursWebSeb That is true. However, I only see that coming to fruition if someone steps up on the right. For all of Royal’s commitment & quality in defence he’s not going to give you the transitional quality assumed for this to eventuate. That’s just not his game even though he is improving

@SpursWebSeb That’s part of the reason. IMO the main reason is that although Royal, Sanchez, PEH form a strong defensive line they are weak in progressing the ball.

We will get better but you have to think Bissouma, Skipp, Romero and Spence/Doherty all have to be part of the solution

Change is the life blood of our game. Continued mediocrity in retaining Foster is an abdication of the board’s role

The same board appointed, extended and retained Foster when it has been clear he didn’t have the credentials in the first place nor the form to continue in his role. Foster must go … the board in due course
