The first KPOPWORLD Festival & Worldwide Dance Competition lands at San Antonio's Alamodome from 28–31 October, and the choice of city is doing as much talking as the eleven-act lineup.
Jay Park, The Rose, SB19, Jessi, ARTMS, CRAVITY, Xdinary Heroes, WONHO, DEAN & Tabber, HEYOON, and DAYOUNG will headline a festival built outside the usual LA-anchored circuit – landing in a market billed as Texas' second-largest K-pop fanbase, itself just a two-hour flight from Mexico, the world's fifth-largest K-pop streaming market on Spotify.
Each set runs a minimum of 45 minutes – longer than the genre's festival norm – while a Worldwide Dance Competition brings 32 teams from 29 countries into the main stage programming ahead of the concert nights.
Read our full breakdown of what the geography, the lineup, and the format say about the upcoming KPOPWORLD event.
