@danielnewmanUV AMD has great hardware with competitive specifications, but the developer ecosystem is what drives devs to Nvidia. Speed is of the essence and AI evolves at the speed of weeks and months. Fastest to implement ideas into products will use Nvidia above all others, including me.

@danielnewmanUV All datacenter businesses are using their own custom ASICs including Google, Microsoft, Amazon AWS, Meta, and now OpenAI. Economics of scale dictate a more affordable option for the majority of workloads for AI, GenAI, ML, and data crunching in the datacenter.

@danielnewmanUV The asymmetrical competitor to $NVDA is $AVGO. Research reveals that inference workloads and constrained AI and ML workloads make up the majority of workloads (80-90%) and will be more cost effective using an ASIC chip like Google's TPU and other custom datacenter ASICs.

@simonkalouche This is very impressive! After I did the @LeRobotHF hackathon with my team last weekend and going in completely green on Saturday morning, I'm hooked! I learnt a lot and it's amazing how the AI models we know can be used together in new ways like SmolVLA to do incredible things!
