@Stickman_Giles @NUFCBlogcouk My first full season watching the Toon the forwards were Mcdonald,Shinton and Rafferty.Think we scored 29 goals that season.Used to go with Dan Burns dad and that's when we got hooked so we started from a low base and pretty much anything is an improvement.

@NUFCBlogcouk He's in the Toon Hall of Fame but I can quite honestly say Mick 'Zico' Martin was awful amongst a horrible collection of players in the early 1980s.

@CharIieBennett The pathetic manner of the two Sunderland defeats convinced me Howe should go and the dismal finish just added to my conviction.Would be over the moon to be wrong but I really fear next season could just be a continuation of last season.

@spen69h Saw quite a bit of Alfie in the https://t.co/FFyckHJazr times he took over games for 45 minutes and looked class but always seemed to fade 2nd half.Think as he physically matures he could last 90 minutes better and be a really decent player.Wishing him the best of luck.

@LiamJKennedy23 I think we have to listen to offers for Osula and if we can get over £40 million to add to the Gordon money invest in a proven goalscorer with Wissa as backup.Prefer to sell Wissa but cant see getting a decent offer unless he has a great World Cup.

@motleytoon1 I think he should be gone but I would love him to turn it around and prove me wrong but I just can't forget the 2 defeats to the Mackems and all the lost points from winning positions Definitely doesn't bode well for next season.

@tfalex1892 And the six points we gave the Mackems let them qualify for Europe.Those 2 defeats are one of the main reasons why Howe should be gone.Unforgivable in my mind but obviously not in alot of peoples.

@Bob_Helpful Ashamed of fellow North Easterners voting for a party full of Tories like Braverman and Jenrick who failed once so switched parties and went even further right.Labour and Starmer have been hopeless but switching to Reform baffles me.
