Nigerian officials have created an environment that facilitates mass violence against Christians and religious minorities by imposing blasphemy and Sharia laws and looking the other way at jihadist atrocities.
The U.S. government knows the Nigerian officials responsible for these policies, I have been pushing my bill to sanction them, and President Trump has even ordered military action.
Instead of responding to American concerns, Nigerian officials waged a public relations campaign against critics.
They were confident in that campaign and in their ability to continue the status quo, and I am heartened that the House has just definitively proven them wrong.

@NigeriaStories Wike really knew what he was doing when he appointed you as the Governor. But history will never forget Sim as the most useless governor of Rivers state.
@MasterBolaji@FinPlanKaluAja1@callmephlames So with the $2T deficit and the endless borrowing, yet this government still can’t account for up 30% capital implementation in 3yrs??

Observe the rapidity with which they arrested, tried, and found Malami guilty.
Notice the “speed” with which Yahaya Bello was arrested and put on trial.

Democrat contender to replace Graham Platner for U.S. Senate:
