@Scott6113 @HeyNav135 @patriottakes A wingover, a.k.a. a cropduster’s turn, is a better choice: no inversion, no altitude gain, lower g-force. It’s good to know in case you find yourself flying into a box canyon. Done right, it’s safe and do-able in any airplane, although I think the FAA classifies it as aerobatic.

@IM_Ramble @BuckTDew @AndrewComiffb @patriottakes There is no requirement to file a flight plan if you are VFR. And you don’t have to get permission to fly aerobatics, you simply have to follow a specific set of rules such avoiding populated areas, restricted zones, and established flight paths.

@stevesi You might think a book about shipping containers would be dull, but it’s quite the opposite. I read this a couple of years ago and it’s still one of my favorite non-fiction books. It has great story-telling and changed how I think about business and economics.

@mbalter It's a classic "straw man" argument. Instead of addressing the actual issue of white privilege and systemic racism, he attacks the (indefensible) concept of white guilt. As a linguistics professor, we can assume he is aware of this logical fallacy, but he does it anyway.
