Every bull run is highly different than the one before.

In 2017 opportunities were mostly dominated by:

- Centralized exchanges

- Public sales without restrictions (ICO's)

While we did have the likes of the first dexes called etherdelta and later on idex.

Truth is, the user experience of those were so awful that 99.9% of the wealth generating opportunities were created on centralized exchanges.

You think dexes are difficult to use today?

Even though it can still be better, we've made huge leaps in simplicity and user experience.

The other wealth generating opportunity in the market came from public sales.

Back then there were hardly any restriction on them.

No launchpads, no lottery system, low entry whitelist, no nothing.

Basically the 2017 rich folk were made through:

- Sniping tokens on lower tiered centralized.
- Sniping quality ICO's and a lot of them.

Combined with strong FA and upcoming releases or events ofcourse.

In 2021 however opportunities were mostly dominated by:

- Decentralized exchanges

- Launchpads

The summer of 2020 began with uniswap season.

Admittedly even I was quite late to this as I still stuck through the old ways of 2017.

* Adaptability and willingness to learn shines a good example here how this can change your life.

A friend of mine was quite early and learned to use uniswap, one of the earlier automated market makers (AMM) that made this niche highly popular.

The glory days of AMM dexes began and it was a literal pot of gold sniping quality tokens here before they hit the exchanges.

(in 2017 there weren't many pre-exchange tokens so the ones that knew uniswap early in 2021 build an insane edge)

Launchpads also made their introductions and here as well the ones willing to adapt and be early struck gold.

Getting launchpad tokens cheap placed you in a very high tier being able to participate in every high quality public sale with decent allocations.

If you stuck with the old ways of 2017 no opportunities were available to you.

Willing to adapt to late?

You were left with high priced launchpad tokens were even a 5000$ investment placed you in a low participation tier.

Crypto isn't like trading any other market.

Stocks are stocks and these will always be the same.

But besides the trading of tokens that go up or down in value, crypto and most notably blockchain it's build on, is entire technological revolution.

An evolution that has a changing landscape every bull cycle because of how early we are.

If you think the next bull cycle won't look different than the one before, you might be left disappointed.

Not only disappointed but also miss out on wealth because of your stubbornness to adapt late.

My advice?

Stay on top of the changing landscape because getting wealthy won't just be a simple case off:

"I'm waiting for the bull run and I'm still here right now and that's it"

We are already seeing tomorrow's changes through the increased popularity of new layer 2s building on ethereum.

An example of missing out would look like not knowing how to use different chains in your wallet to trade on multiple networks.

As well as still being stuck to the old ways of cexes.

CEXes will continue to see reduced exposure to wealth creating opportunities.

I Know coinbase or Binance is easy.

But easy is also the place where the entire here is sitting.

Don't think for a second the next batch of changes isn't on the way.
