A4:I think one way to do this would be to relate the assignments or lessons to what is trendy with the students. For instance, having groups make TikTok’s about a certain chemical element would keep them engaged with learning while using tech. #CSUBted#csubedte4200@Tech_Buddha
A3: I believe one way to deepen understanding of a subject would be to use models. In deísmos graphing calculator, it is possible to make 3D and interactive models within the program which would help Witt student visualization. #CSUBted#csubedte4200@Tech_Buddha
@Gcg40177205 @doctor2pi@Duncannedd Google has great options and they are available to all students. Also, using these sources makes it easier for students to engage with one another since they can edit, comment and see what is shared with them.
@DavidMayhew1212 @doctor2pi Watching videos during class made class not feel so mundane and boring. Watching educating videos that are exciting is a great way for students with short attention spans to absorb information.
A2)I think my strategy that I would use would be kahoot. With kahoot, I can create a game for any topic and make it as simple or difficult as it needs to be. I can write questions in English and Spanish while also being able to involve the whole classroom
A1) Technology such as google sites is a great way for engagement because anyone can access the websites you create, they can learn from any content that is posted on there, and can be inspired to make their own google site! #CSUBTED#CSUBEDTE4200@Tech_Buddha
Also, making a Twitter account specific for education purposes has broadened my view on the accessibility to other educators as well as the exposure to different ideas these people have inside and outside the classroom. (Week 4 reflection) #csubedte4200#csubted
I have a troublesome time trying to find good PowerPoint slide templates but being exposed to different websites that have an abundance of them was great because it gave me a ton more options for making my presentations more enjoyable and exciting for others to sit through.
