@elonmusk@JDVance I asked Grok for 15-20 things Pres. Trump could do to improve affordability in the next 2 years and to assume congress will not help. Here are the executive and regulatory actions Grok recommends:
---------------------------------------------------------
**Executive/regulatory actions (no new legislation required) that could meaningfully improve affordability:**
- **Accelerate and expand housing permitting reforms**: Direct EPA and Army Corps to further streamline wetlands, stormwater, and environmental reviews for residential development; push agencies to reduce federal overlays that inflate construction costs.
- **Scale manufactured and modular housing**: Expand the existing Task Force on Manufactured Housing Innovation; revise HUD, FHA, and VA standards to ease factory-built homes into more federal programs and reduce site-built barriers.
- **Further cut mortgage-related costs**: Direct FHFA to broaden proactive PMI cancellation based on current valuations, permanently expand title-insurance alternatives/waivers for refinances, and continue or expand MBS purchases by Fannie/Freddie to pressure rates lower.
- **Restrict institutional single-family purchases where authority exists**: Build on prior orders/rules limiting large investors in single-family homes to free inventory for owner-occupants.
- **Unleash domestic energy production**: Open additional federal onshore/offshore acreage, expedite drilling permits, and fast-track pipelines/LNG terminals via existing emergency and NEPA authorities.
- **Complete major climate-rule rescissions**: Finish withdrawal of remaining power-plant, vehicle, and related GHG rules (building on Endangerment Finding actions) that raise electricity, fuel, and vehicle costs.
- **Support nuclear and reliable baseload**: Streamline NRC licensing/restart processes for existing and new reactors; reduce regulatory barriers to coal and gas plant operations.
- **Roll back costly appliance and efficiency mandates**: Direct DOE and EPA to reverse or ease standards on stoves, washers, HVAC, water heaters, and similar items that raise upfront purchase prices.
- **Expand Most-Favored-Nation drug pricing**: Negotiate additional manufacturer agreements covering more drugs and broaden access (Medicaid, cash-pay/TrumpRx, seniors) to further reduce prescription costs.
- **Enforce competition in food supply chains**: Direct DOJ/FTC task forces to investigate and act against price-fixing or anti-competitive practices in meatpacking, seeds, fertilizer, and processing.
- **Ease agricultural production rules**: Reduce EPA/USDA regulatory burdens on pesticides, fertilizers, livestock, and processing that raise farm and grocery costs.
- **Streamline NEPA and infrastructure reviews**: Cut review timelines for energy, housing-related, and transportation projects; implement more aggressive permitting reforms via executive and agency action.
- **Increase healthcare price transparency and cut administrative burdens**: Strengthen existing transparency rules, reduce paperwork/rent-seeking in Medicare/Medicaid, and expand telehealth/scope-of-practice flexibilities where federally controllable.
- **Lower vehicle and fuel costs further**: Continue or deepen CAFE/emission standard rollbacks to reduce new-vehicle prices and support conventional fuel options.
- **Promote workforce participation and reduce labor-cost drivers**: Adjust overtime, independent-contractor, and related rules via DOL to ease employer costs that pass through to prices, while drawing more people into the labor force.
- **Use targeted trade and tariff tools**: Exempt critical inputs (building materials, energy components, food ingredients) from tariffs where possible and negotiate selective reciprocal deals to lower specific import costs without broad new legislation.
- **Reform higher-education cost drivers**: Direct Education Department to tighten accreditation, expand alternative providers, and adjust Title IV rules to pressure tuition and expand lower-cost vocational options.
- **Federal procurement and standards pressure**: Require agencies to prefer lower-cost materials, energy, and housing options in federal projects and set example standards that influence private markets.
- **Expand competition and innovation pilots**: Use existing authorities for pilots on mortgage tech, housing manufacturing, energy storage, and healthcare delivery that demonstrably cut costs.
- **Zero-based regulatory budgeting enforcement**: Aggressively apply 10-for-1 (or higher) rules across agencies, with prioritized cost-benefit reviews focused on housing, energy, food, and healthcare regulations.
These build on actions already underway (housing EOs, energy deregulation, drug deals, EPA savings) and stay within executive, agency, and independent-commission levers. Impact varies by speed of implementation, litigation risk, and state/local responses; the largest near-term gains typically come from energy supply, housing regulatory relief, and drug-price agreements.
Elon Musk made a bunch of money the last few years and commie Bernie says "gee, I wonder why"
Um...Elon's landing rocket ships backwards and building flying cars, you stupid communist. I know you've never built anything, you've only ever worked for government, but Elon not only makes cool shit, he also directly employs over 160,000 people, and God knows how many people make a living using his work product. How many people have you employed in your life, Bernard? What have you built? You've never produced anything of value in your entire impotent life...gee, I wonder why?
@ScottPresler Scott, you are an incredibly important, influential voice for our republic. If you are being attacked it's only because you are over the target and effective! Hang in there!
I honestly do not understand how any American who is not already a literal Communist or a literal Jihadist could vote Democrat after hearing what Slotkin said below.
This is LITERALLY totalitarianism. It's not the fake "fascism" the Left likes to accuse the Right of, it is the REAL THING.
Undeniably.
Irrefutably.
This is a sitting member of Congress who was in the CIA saying that dissent from what she believes will result in imprisonment.
This is straight out of Solzhenitsyn. Straight out of Orwell. This is something an early Nazi would have said in 1932 under the Weimar Republic.
Please please PLEASE share her words with everyone you know. The Democrat/Media Complex will try to bury this. It is up to us on social media, on blogs and via texts and emails to get the word out.
The only way to stop these monsters is to make sure that voters who don't really keep up on politics understand the actual threat, see it with their own eyes and hear it with their own ears.
Please. Spread the word to anyone who will listen. And even those who won't listen.
France imported third world barbarians into their country and now the country is burning down.
This is why borders matter.
This is why vetting who comes into your country matters.
This is why you can't sit out the Midterms this year.
What’s terrifying about this clip isn’t their ideals…these sweet gals’ hearts are certainly in the right place. What’s terrifying is they have the civic, political, and economic literacy of a 9 year old. When a charlatan like Abdul comes along with the Jr High class president schtick of “no more homework and the vending machines are all free!”, they fall for it.
I don’t know how you get to that age with ZERO understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, labor costs…but a lot of folks think that medicine and MRIs and hospitals just materialize out of thin air like unicorn farts. They’ve never built anything in their lives, so they have no concept of how things function…things are just…there. They think milk comes from the store. They think rich people don’t pay taxes, even though the top 1% fund 40% of government with their taxes already, and yet 40% of all Americans contribute ZERO federal income tax at all. These people don’t understand that you could tax the wealthy at 100% and it would only fund the government for 120 days. Then you’re screwed.
Too many Americans simply have zero understanding of how anything works, and even though they’re living in the easiest times in human history, they think things are “terrible out there”. These commie scammers roll through and promise them things that sound great, but aren’t possible in reality, and have devastating consequences if tried…but because they don’t know anything, they fall for it. Sadly, so many of our politicians and their advisors are such atrocious communicators, there’s like zero countervailing narrative to push back on the commie gobbledygook, so we are gonna have to learn the hard way. Guys…we just had a sample of socialism: Covid. We all got universal basic income, and it ended up tripling our costs and they’ll never go down. Ever. That one brief little experiment in command and control government will haunt us the rest of our lives. Bleak stuff, man.
Paul Harvey went on the radio in 1965 with "If I Were the Devil."
Over 60 years ago, he laid out exactly how you'd tear a nation apart. Go after the family. Take God out of the schools. Turn people against each other and call it progress.
Listen to it today and it doesn't sound like a warning anymore.
It sounds like a checklist.
Every American should hear it at least once a year.
Then look around.
The Greatest Story Never Told - Trump’s economy has produced all-time record household income and an all-time record-low poverty rate. Now the Atlanta Fed predicts 5 percent GDP growth. You’d think somebody would notice.
According to the latest from the Census Bureau, the poverty rate just hit its lowest level in U.S. history.
Read that again.
That’s not all. America just also hit its highest real median household income in history. The Atlanta Fed estimates that the economy is growing at an incredible 5 percent annual rate. That’s after years of Democrats promising us that 1.6 percent was “the new normal.” It’s also after barely more than a year and a half of Trump back in office.
It gets even better. Child poverty fell to just 13.4 percent, the lowest official rate ever recorded. Hispanic poverty fell to a record low 13.9 percent. Real weekly earnings for blue-collar manufacturing workers are up 4.1 percent since January 2025; construction workers’ earnings are up an even higher 5 percent.
It’s kind of a miracle. And it’s gathering steam.
Yet to hear the Enemedia — and some conservatives — talk, the exact opposite is true. To them it’s all “muh gas prices.” Which is funny since the average gas price under Joe Biden was higher than the average during Trump’s second term, even with the war.
Something is seriously amiss.
If incomes are rising faster than prices, it isn’t affordability. It certainly isn’t household wealth. The income figure measures the household in the middle. Elon Musk getting richer can’t drag it upward the way he could an average. And the $2,250 gain in 2025 alone is what remains after adjusting for higher prices.
People who spent years watching inflation eat their raises are finally getting ahead. Dismissing that isn’t showing concern for working families: it’s just myopic. And electing the people who gave you all that inflation — and promised to “skyrocket” energy prices to force everyone into an EV — isn’t even sane.
That GDP number is especially striking. Remember that much ballyhooed 1.5 percent second-quarter headline that had the pundits celebrating Trump’s “failure?” I told you then: they were looking at the wrong number. What they were seeing wasn’t a slowdown in growth but a capex boom: the private economy spending its output to buy the equipment that would create an industrial supercycle.
It’s happening.
The ever-brilliant Larry Kudlow calls the burgeoning boom “the greatest story never told.” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says we’ve entered the “acceleration phase,” as the tax changes and deregulation start to produce the results they were literally designed to produce.
I’ve been explaining that process since early 2025. Yet conservatives continue to buy the left’s lies.
It’s time to stop.
Working Families Are Getting Ahead
Starting with Bill Clinton, America’s ruling class told us manufacturing was gone forever. China would build; we would consume. Russia and the Middle East would supply the energy. Europe would regulate. America would borrow, import, and manage its “inevitable” decline and displacement by more dynamic powers.
Trump rejected every part of that nonsense.
The workers now getting those bigger paychecks have every reason to be glad he did. Their employers aren’t just buying equipment and building new factories: they're bidding up the price of the people who know how to use them. They’re training even more.
Nor is the capex boom ending anytime soon. Trump went out and recruited an incredible $18 trillion of investment into the United States in his first months in office. Equipment shipments have risen at an 18.9 percent annual rate in just the latest three months. And just yesterday, the President announced the largest steel plant in American history, a $15 billion titan set to begin construction in Iowa.
The President also negotiated trade deals that pried open foreign markets to U.S. manufacturers; he also exempted foreign companies from tariffs if they begin building plants here. And as a condition of those trade deals — now finalized with countries representing 67 percent of global GDP — he forced countless countries accustomed to buying their energy from Russia and the Persian Gulf to buy it from the Gulf of America instead.
The construction workers are building the plants and refineries. The roughnecks are drilling the wells. There will be years of work completing them, and much, much more work running them thereafter.
How did that happen? Trump changed the tax code, and thus the incentives for investment. His One Big Beautiful Bill made immediate business expensing permanent for equipment, and added full expensing for qualifying American production facilities. Combined with unprecedented deregulation plus the trade deals, suddenly there’s no better place to build a factory than right here.
Meanwhile, no taxes on tips, no taxes on overtime, and no taxes on Social Security (and what sort of obscenity is taxing Social Security anyway?!) help the bottom rung even more than the top.
“Those jobs are never coming back” was a lie, calculated to cover for (intentional) Democrat failures.
There was a time when an American family could live on one breadwinner’s blue-collar wages. That day is coming back, fast. An economy “growing” at Obama’s stultifying 1.6 percent takes nearly half a century to double. Young people can’t find jobs because they’re already taken: they’re locked out of their futures for half their lifetimes, and locked into dependency on the socialists. That is, after all, the goal.
But an economy growing at 5 percent doubles in size in just 14 years. That translates into so much hiring so fast that labor shortages have to be cured by ever-higher wages. It also translates into so much tax revenue, even at lower rates, that you don’t just reduce the deficit: you start paying off the debt, as we did for four straight years before 9/11.
Folks, this ain’t rocket science. This is the difference between Jimmy Carter’s economy and Ronald Reagan’s. It’s not like we haven’t seen this play before.
Bessent calls it “parallel prosperity.” Wall Street and Main Street can both do well at once. A profitable company is sustainable: it expands, hires people, trains them, and pays them more. An unprofitable company does none of those things. Yet the “Democratic Socialist” treats the profits that make prosperity possible as an offense, one that must be crushed in the name of “social justice.”
That’s the choice on November’s ballot.
More Production, Less Inflation
Nowhere is that point more obvious than deregulation, anathema to the Democrats. Trump has eliminated 129 regulations for every new one: there’s nothing like it in history. Which party do you think issued most of those in the first place? Not ours.
A company wants to build; it has customers waiting; it can raise the money. But then it spends years waiting for government to let it proceed. Supposedly the delay protects us. But from what is it protecting us exactly? More goods? Better jobs? The possibility that somebody might make a profit?
In the midst of the Depression, the Empire State Building was completed in just 13 months. Good luck getting a permit in even twice that time in today’s New York.
A process that makes it prohibitively expensive to produce in America sends that production somewhere else. It doesn’t abolish the need for the product. Americans still buy it, but workers in some other country collect the paychecks.
Democrats piled on regulations — and taxes — year after year, amounting to a multi-trillion-dollar burden on the U.S. economy and those pathetic “growth” rates that steal young people’s futures. Trump is rolling them back.
Leftwing economists have long fretted (as they have about global warming, and global cooling, and global overpopulation, and the Ozone hole, and “Peak Oil”, and “two weeks to flatten the curve”) that all this new production will cause inflation. But this Phillips Curve nonsense was discredited 50 years ago: the truth is exactly the opposite.
Production isn’t the enemy of price stability: it’s the means by which supply catches demand. The answer to a shortage of something Americans need is to make more of it. And if supply is plentiful, prices fall.
Likewise, the “expert” class assured us that we needed to lower our expectations, that a “mature economy” can only grow at a lower rate: all the dynamic gains must come from developing economies like China’s. Yet what the heck is a mature economy? If you’d asked anyone in 1900, they’d have said they had one, just before nearly everything we have was invented.
We are entering another such period, with AI and countless other new technologies promising productivity gains beyond anything we’ve ever seen. A worker with better tools can produce much more in the same hour, earning a higher wage without increasing the labor cost of each item he produces.
And like Reagan before him, President Trump has laid a foundation that sets America up to dominate the next half century.
Go Tell Our Story: The Election Is On You
So why aren’t Republicans making this case every day? And no, I don’t mean “the Republicans” in Washington. Trump’s doing more than any President before him. Congress, however flawed, has enacted much of his legislation. The leaders aren’t the problem.
We are.
Historically, the President’s party — whichever President’s party — loses the midterms. But they don’t have to. Midterms are low-turnout elections, which means “every little thing we do is magic.” No need to appeal to the middle, no need to persuade the socialists. Just talk to your own friends and physically take them to the polls.
To keep the majority, all we need is 1,000 extra votes in 20 House races — just four extra votes per precinct. Want to make a difference? You can. But that also means that if you don’t, you’re responsible.
Republicans need to stop acting like entitled children, and start taking responsibility for their neighbors and their futures. It’s time to tell our story, over and over again.
Record real household income and record-low poverty are a pretty great story to tell. So is the lowest murder rate in 126 years, a 99.9 percent reduction in illegal border crossings, or a thousand other things. Five percent GDP growth is exactly the boom Trump promised. And the equipment arriving at new American factories gives us every reason to expect more.
This is nothing else but the greatest story never told.
So go and tell it.
🚨 WOW! President Trump was just asked what his midterm message is for millions of Americans to vote red, and he dropped RAPID FIRE truth nukes to the Fake News in the Oval Office:
- 17 months in a row of ZERO illegal crossings
- The best crime numbers in history, even after Democrats let in 25 million people
- The most jobs in the history of the United States
- M*rders are lower than at any time since 1900
- New plants are being built every day, like today's $18B investment
- $21 TRILLION being invested in America, the most in history
- China has only $3 trillion, and Biden had just half a trillion
- The war will be won very soon
- Gas prices will come tumbling down
- "Nobody else could have done that. Nobody else."
- Democrats want to open the border back up
Big campaign event in Thousand Oaks this morning...
Then over to Pasadena for @JenniferHorn and AM870's annual Townhall...
And back up to Madera tonight to catch the NASCAR race.

🔥 TRUMP JUST REPOSTED JFK’S MOST TERRIFYING SPEECH — AND THE DEEP STATE IS PANICKING
JFK saw it coming. In 1961. And now, Trump has just made sure 300 million Americans see it, too.
The speech everyone’s talking about: Kennedy’s address to the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961. The CIA had just botched the Bay of Pigs. Kennedy was livid. He’d been lied to by his own intelligence apparatus. And he walked onto that stage and said something no president has dared say since.
“We are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice.”
Read that again. Monolithic. Ruthless. Conspiracy.
This wasn’t some fringe radio host. This was the sitting President of the United States, on live television, telling the American people that a shadow network of power — operating through intelligence agencies, media complicity, and institutional capture — was working against the republic itself.
And then he said the quiet part out loud:
“Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.”
Sound familiar?
Sixty-five years later, Trump drops this video on Truth Social. No commentary needed. The speech does all the work. And within hours, the same media outlets that spent four years calling Trump a conspiracy theorist are suddenly very quiet.
Here’s what they don’t want you to connect:
- Kennedy was assassinated 2.5 years after this speech
- The Warren Commission was a joke — even the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979 concluded Kennedy was “probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy”
- The files are STILL classified
- Trump has been pushing to release them, but the permanent national security state refuses, instead slow-walking the order
The timing isn’t random. This isn’t just history. JFK described a permanent national security state that has only grown more entrenched — one that operates beyond elections, beyond accountability, beyond the reach of voters.
Kennedy called it “a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations.”
That machine didn’t disappear when he died. It got even stronger.
Trump reposting this isn’t nostalgia. It’s a signal. The same forces JFK warned about are the same forces that tried to destroy Trump — Russiagate, two impeachments, lawfare, media blackout, assassination attempts. The playbook hasn’t changed. Only the names.
And now the sitting president just reminded the country who the real enemy has always been.
The speech that scared them then is the speech they’re terrified you’ll watch now.
Sharing this because they’re counting on you not to watch it. Don’t let them win. 🎯
