@NeilLfc_5 The sooner all clubs come together against it the better. We could end up with a rivalry similar to NFL teams, nobody will be particularly arsed as they’re just financial juggernauts where all the ‘fans’ left will have no care about what it means to support Everton or Liverpool.
@Everton Season Ticket + doesn’t sit right in my opinion.
“Season ticket holders are all equal, but some season ticket holders are more equal than others”
If you calm that busy brain of yours for a moment your enemy isn’t the team you’re playing this weekend or their fans. It’s not even your most hated rivals, it’s the corporates changing a game so it’s unrecognisable to the one you fell in love with, and pricing you out of it. VG.
@BigPcat@Everton Had the same issues passing mine on. Also it turns out if you put it on the ‘resale’ platform they actually only go on sale when it’s a sell out, which it was never going to be. So mine hasn’t sold either. Place will be half full tonight 🙇🏻♂️
World football should be embarrassed and outraged that the game of the world, that everyone plays in all corners of the planet, has been used to promote a human rights abuser, currently extrajudicially killing Venezuelans, who play our game.
Locking up immigrants and vilifying all manner of cultures and faiths, who play our game.
Funding and arming genocide in Palestine, who play our game.
This award further stains the reputation of Infantino, FIFA, and places football as an enabler of Trump’s attacks on international law, multilateral systems, on justice, and accountability.
Football once stopped wars, today, it promotes the worst crimes against humanity.
It’s a shameful day for the beautiful game.
It’s a bitter pill for royalists to swallow, but the fact remains: the late Queen paid for Virginia’s silence to protect the monarchy’s reputation. Now, their age-old motto of “never explain, never complain” may finally be coming to an end. The institution is on its knees. This may even be the beginning of the end.
I’m not sure what’s more embarrassing; @SkySportsGolf apologising for swear words this late at night or the @RyderCupUSA fans not being able to handle 3% beer
