Part 6: Usually, they have policies in place to handle refunds and cancellations fairly, and we've been okay. This time, they are now intentionally giving us the runaround despite admitting responsibility. This is not okay!

@Airbnb, you have an opportunity to make this right.

Part 5: Now, the @Airbnb adjuster is simply ignoring our emails and calls. Despite several attempts to keep the conversation moving, it's just radio silence.

Is this how you take care of customers? We've been using the service for years and have only had minor incidents. (cont.)

Part 4: Naturally, we countered because the property owner would be getting off too easy for a situation that could have been much worse had my daughter been sitting directly under the ceiling fan instead of where the pillows are. (cont.)

Part 3: Under the Host Protection Insurance, @Airbnb hosts are protected up to $1M for injuries to guests. We were connected to their claims adjuster, and even after admitting the host was 100% at fault, they offered an insulting $1,500 and requested a non disclosure. (cont.)

Part 2: A few months ago, we stayed at an @airbnb in Carolina Beach that had recently been renovated. During the stay, the living room ceiling fan fell out of the ceiling and struck our 6yo. We immediately contacted the management company and filed a claim with AirBnB. (cont.)
