Tesla is modularizing both vehicular wiring AND communication. Lower costs, build time, weight, latency. Higher throughput. @TeslaLarry@amy787@TeslaBoomerMama@DrKnowItAll16@wholemars
I expect some form of this is in CyberTruck.

@greggertruck I have a similar problem in that FSD doesn’t back up into my driveway for home charging yet. However I have experienced an unexpected solution to this. I now have the PCS fault so I can’t charge at home. Yay!
@wholemars I sold some cash covered puts this morning. I collect the premium and if it closes below the strike I get $SPCX near the IPO price, not the current higher price.
Upcoming releases of FSD will remember your parking preferences, so that the car goes to the right location at your home, office, school drop off, etc.
Destination parking is by far the biggest reason people now intervene with FSD. Critical safety interventions are extremely rare.
Texas Department of Transportation Executive Director after sitting in the production version of @Tesla’s Cybercab:
"The complete absence of traditional driver controls underscores a significant shift in mobility and vehicle design. No steering wheel, no accelerator, no brake. Only a single touch-screen monitor.
Tesla is now operating Robotaxis (using Model Ys) around Austin, Dallas and Houston in Full Self Driving mode. The introduction of the Cybercab will dramitically scale these operations over the coming months."
@JeffTutorials Yes they enabled free charging.
The first time my phone showed a charge. However, when I checked my credit card there was no charge.
Second time both the phone and credit card showed no charges.
Finally got the dreaded Cybertruck PCS fault. Noticed charging was limited to 24A. Charging shortly stopped.
Scheduling service - 11 day wait.
On a positive note - got some $SPCX pre ipo today.
@ArcticDodger@ICannot_Enough@elonmusk True. I was only referring to the launch power. Before Spacex provided their simulation of the rail gun, a number of AI generated content was posted showing rockets doing the launch. The rail gun is just a linear electric motor and doesn’t require liquid fuel.
