Happy Father’s Day!

Many of you have heard me share my dad’s story. A waist gunner on a B-17 during World War II, he was injured when his plane was shot down and spent the rest of the war as a POW in a Nazi prison camp. He received the Purple Heart for his sacrifice.

He’s the true definition of an overcomer, the epitome of what makes America great, and my hero. He’s one of the reasons I made the decision to run for Congress.

Dad, thank you for your example, your sacrifice, and your love.

Happy Father’s Day to the fathers across our nation. May we continue to honor and strengthen the vital role of fathers in our families and communities. 🇺🇸
