@SiClancy I can’t believe it was given but can’t say I’m too upset as we deserve to win this! As you say, happens every corner - only way you have the benefit to give it is if you’ve just warned them both publicly or else so hard to sell that decision

@ToonMouthTyne @NUFC @PIF_en @jamiereuben If we want to be a big team, we have to compete for a smaller group of players with bigger clubs - it’s going to be harder. Time to get used to it, just like our board is - it’s so entitled to have expected to just do whatever we wanted this summer and not look at realities

@ToonMouthTyne The deals aren't pure apples to apples though, supposedly theirs is lower total value but more achievable add ons. So it might be what it is likely to become they judge it on, not just what it could become

@ToonMouthTyne If you upgrade other positions with the money, with the quality we have going forward from midfield and the wings we can deal with a small downgrade up top. You won't replace Isak - but if we can upgrade the team as a whole then it's worth it
