@joseph_kalimbwe the real magic is to create an enabling environment where you don't need a president or any senior politician to be involved...the private sector does it to make money
@ngomabest196 My understanding is foreigners can't own land in Zambia. 100% no on customary land, and for title only permanent residents (living for 10 straight yrs) are able to. And only businesses with 75%+ Zambian ownership can buy land. Maybe I'm wrong?
@WaluuK Everyone should consider the ROI of getting a degree (before spending the time and money) Carefully select the school and the discipline. And understand what role education plays...try to make money first, then decide with better clarity.
@ADnD_2e @PicturesFoIder I don't live in the Bay Area - I got off a plane, took the BART into town, snacked on some food, could never have imagined not being allowed to. If I was told by someone I definitely wouldn't resist though. I'd say sorry and put it away.
@ThrillaRilla369 starting around the age of 11 this was the case for me in the 90's. People seemed outwardly friendly. Any problem, many people were there to help. I think the internet has warped how we behave. that and lack of walking or biking to get places.
@TheKevinDalton all about perspective. you have to spend money to try new things otherwise you never learn what works and what doesn't. most OECD countries spend 3% of GDP. Some things work out, and some don't
@CollinRugg We use to look down on those who did bat flips in baseball, and touchdown celebrations in football. Now we embrace it. Fact is they are good for the sport. As long as the celebration isn't putting someone else down, it's great in my view.
