@TheTimesofMalta I am fully vaccinated, had a negative PCR test yesterday but I had to cancel my trip as they would accept the UK NHS digital vaccination certificate, only a paper copy that we have to request and takes 5 days…so gutted 😔😔

@UKinMalta@MaltaGov@NHSuk Is it true Malta haven’t updated their IT systems to read the QR codes on the NHS Digital app/print out, which is why they are demanding the printed letter only? Forcing hundreds of people to cancel their trips! Please put in place an exception whilst this is sorted! #malta
@_gsmartin@UKinMalta@MaltaGov@NHSuk There is a QR code on the app print out, where on the letter it is a barcode, plus unlike the printout from the app it doesn’t have your address. The letter has a NHS watermark so I am guessing it’s because they can’t validate the digital printout as authentic….

@TravelPassionis@TWMCLtd I am guessing it’s the link between the Malta and the UK IT systems. It the only thing that makes sense. If we had been still in the EU would this have been allowed to happen? I bet the NHS Digital app will be supported in the near future, just watch…
