How embarrassing by Fox. Pre-race does a group interview that included Paul Page and graphic says Paul Gates. How do you possibly get that wrong for an icon of the 500?!!!
@indyhsscores Who foots the bill when a parent of a kid sues because they were sure their child was going to be a professional athlete and they just got cut from their team and have been denied their right earn a living at 16 years old. Isn’t that how this all started in college sports?
Quakers,
I’m coming home.
After playing at Plainfield and winning a state championship in 1999, then spending 11 years as an assistant under Coach Andy Weaver, I’m honored to be named the new head boys basketball coach at Plainfield High School.
So just when I thought college sports were beyond ridiculous, it takes the next step.
It has now become fashionable for athletes to announce on social media they are STAYING at their current school.
I just can’t get over how bad @CBS coverage of the tournament has gotten. Among other things, I sure miss Jim Nantz doing games and Greg Gumble in the studio.
After watching college basketball almost non-stop for the last 3 weeks, I don’t think it’s an unreasonable statement to say officiating is at a very low point.
Also, that the review/challenge process is not a good one.
I will repeat this through the end of time. PLEASE stop interviewing coaches in the middle of the game during a timeout. Nothing against people doing their jobs. It’s just not needed.
