Also when this happened in the 90s Cornwall , one of Europe’s poorest regions, ended up with the highest water bills due to the length of coast. Despite millions of people using it per year, the locals had to pay the actual polluter to clean it up. It’s ridiculous

In the 90s my Gs from The Badlands of Cornwall found a deserted paradise island. In 2022 they went back.
On the biggest day they got a standing ovation from two Aussie boats in the channel. Their tales of early Indo exploration are in the latest issue.
