@RumptyDumptyDoo Ireland is a sovereign nation colonised by the British seven hundred years ago. It was actually Britains first colony. As for being part of the British Isles I suppose as much as UK is part of Europe. Both geographically true but irrelevant geopolitically

Was at the game. Felt the response to Zirkzee sub was horrible. There were worse than him on that pitch who played the full 90. Pathetic performance though. How anyone can think any United midfield without Mainoo is better than one with him in it I'll never know.

@jimmymcbride1 Start of the season big theme was speed things up. Then they decide ballboys can't throw the ball on any more, now it's slower than ever. And at no point yesterday was that ref even considering booking the Burnley keeper, even when he kept walking past the balls on the cones.

@EmmettMcGuckin Bigger problem was management not deciding to protect the goal after losing so much on their long kick out. Absolutely no fault of the player. He was very unlucky with second one too

Cannot understand when midfield is being so badly lost, not telling Lynch to sit back. After one goal, fine, but after the second should have been an easy call. Then they do it again.
Fair play to Donegal though, they were very good, exploited a pretty simple fault
