In the hypothetical scenario where titles won during that period get stripped and awarded to runners up, we would get the 2013-14 title and United would get the 2011-12 & 2017-18 ones.

Man City being guilty of breaching all those rules was never in doubt. It’s not worth people getting excited about though until we see what the actual punishment will be. I’m expecting nothing more than a slap on the wrist and a large fine. Maybe a transfer ban if we’re lucky.

6 points from our first 4 games. All of which have been against sides that weren’t in the top 10 of the Premier League last season. I’m expecting at least 1 of our £100m+ players to actually turn up in games like this. Doesn’t fill me with confidence for the season ahead…#LFC

@AnfieldSector 4/10. The only issue we’ve addressed from last season is the CB department. Barcola is a nice addition, but LW wasn’t a position we were short of options in. We critically didn’t sign a RW, DM or RB, which are 3x of the positions I felt needed strengthening the most this window.

If Liverpool do end this transfer window without signing a right winger, it’s a complete fucking disgrace and everyone involved should be ashamed! We’ve gone after Diomande, Mbaye, Minteh & Sarr this window, so the club (like everyone else) obviously thought we needed one! #LFC

We got away with that big time. Now sort the fucking incomings out! The fact that we’ve gone into the season with such a light squad is tragic. Not having a proper right winger at the club is criminal. The performance just showed how unprepared we were for the season to start.
