Last month, we officially brought #pickleball to town! It’s a popular paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis, that the residents love to play.
Now two of the new tennis courts at William Birch Park are dedicated to pickleball!
The Borough of Fort Lee received a grant from Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco for $74,000 for a new surface for the playground at William T. Birch Park (behind the Fort Lee Recreation Center).
Work on the playground will take place this year.
