When a @PhilstarNews reporter gets an "envelope" you turn over the cash to Mrs B. She then writes a very gracious letter to the public ofcicial, thanking him for his "donation". Egos are salved but message is delivered as well 😂
🚨 Oh my!
News5 thru Maeanne Los Baños reported a screenshot of the groupchat of Senators where Minority Senators indeed asked Majority Senators how they were and to stay safe.
Is Pia Cayetano also a Pinocchio like Alan Peter? 🤥

With the denial of his plea for a TRO, there is no longer any reason why he shouldn't be hunted down, arrested, and turned over to the ICC.
While we're at it, dahil nagtatago siya sa batas, he should already be declared a fugitive from justice and denied any standing in court.
Baka gusto ni Jimmy Bondoc na siya na nga yung mag abot ng warrant kay Bato. Kasi nga sabi niya let me be the one to break it up so you won't have to make excuses.
I strongly believe there are entire companies right now under heavy AI psychosis and its impossible to have rational conversations about it with them. I can't name any specific people because they include personal friends I deeply respect, but I worry about how this plays out.
I lived through the great MTBF vs MTTR (mean-time-between-failure vs. mean-time-to-recovery) reckoning of infrastructure during the transition to cloud and cloud automation. All those arguments are rearing their ugly heads again but now its... the whole software development industry (maybe the whole world, really).
It's frightening, because the psychosis folks operate under an almost absolute "MTTR is all you need" mentality: "its fine to ship bugs because the agents will fix them so quickly and at a scale humans can't do!" We learned in infrastructure that MTTR is great but you can't yeet resilient systems entirely.
The main issue is I don't even know how to bring this up to people I know personally, because bringing this topic up leads to immediately dismissals like "no no, it has full test coverage" or "bug reports are going down" or something, which just don't paint the whole picture.
We already learned this lesson once in infrastructure: you can automate yourself into a very resilient catastrophe machine. Systems can appear healthy by local metrics while globally becoming incomprehensible. Bug reports can go down while latent risk explodes. Test coverage can rise while semantic understanding falls. Changes happens so fast that nobody notices the underlying architecture decaying.
I worry.
Bihira ako humirit ng Latin maxim, pero eto parang bagay sa panahon:
Fatetur facinus qui judicium fugit.
He who escapes judgment confesses his guilt.
Ibig sabihin, kung pumuslit ka nang alas-dos ng madaling araw, hindi siguro dahil inosente ka. ⚖️
How did we get here? A horrendous Senate shooting that risked the lives of so many innocent civilians in the Senate halls?
I'm no expert on these things but here are my 2 cents. Multiple layers of (ir)responsibility:
Breaking News: The Philippines Senate erupted into chaos after what appeared to be gunshots were fired from inside the chamber after a top ally of Rodrigo Duterte, the country’s former leader, said police were coming to arrest him. https://t.co/0QpTgkeNsN
If no TRO was issued, then he can be arrested. This whole "protective custody" shiz of the new Senate majority has no basis in either the Constitution or law. Ano, porke't senador kayo di na kayo kailangan sumunod sa batas? Kalokohan.
Journalists will always show up, especially during critical times.
Salute to all the reporters at the Senate who worked tirelessly to keep the nation updated tonight.
