I don’t even know where to start. Five years of work just to get back to the octagon, and all that time away, only to have it taken from him again in one kick.
We even got a glimpse of him being truly back. The walkout. The Billy strut. The one, the only. For a moment, he looked every bit the fighter he used to be. As a Conor fan, and someone who he made watch the UFC in the first place, I will always feel like we’ve missed out on so much more of his magic due to injuries, boxing, etc.
Regardless of what these last six years have looked like for Conor, the game can thank him. Get well soon. This sport is better with you in it. ❤️ #UFC329
