@newskag I loved the old curriculum, it really fostered a genuine love of reading and every day had rich rigorous assignments to complete. I loved that it was clearly made by teachers.
But the new one really takes the guess work out and should really benefit newer teachers especially

@newskag It takes so much of the planning off the teachers once you get the hang of it. There is much more time for feedback because I'm not making my own stuff every night. It seems based on science of reading /writing. I love it.
That said, the kids all insist the old books are better
