Any RTs are mine and do not reflect those of my employer. Your boos mean nothing to me for I have seen what makes you cheer. We are not the same. Matt 6:27
@trjohnson81@TJLang70 THIS is the only take. You don't like the rules, change them, you have negotiating power - but don't complain when you signed the current deal. Why can't people get this? Pat McAfee, being the worst rage baiter today ...
@Devoted2DET Not wanting to really argue, way too much of that online today, but that's NOT what a signing bonus is ( at all ) per how NFLPA contracts are written. It's actually listed as a pro-rated payout for future work. And clearly outlined as such. Probably mis-named to be honest.
@Hugeshow Learn to read a contract. It's not a "BONUS" - it's a guarantee against future work that is 100% clearly pro-rated and outlined as such by the NFLPA. Clear as day. SMH. People gotta get over this rah-rah non-sense ( see David Montgomery leaving, etc. ) It is a BUSINESS.
@JBye33@JasonKelce No one will go there NOW? Multiple players signed with us, as a great culture team/destination to play AFTER they "ripped off Calvin and Barry" ( not my words ) - you think this Ragnow thing is a reason players won't re-sign with them? OK ...? This is not a "new" thing.
@Section344Lions This. Exactly. Best take on this I've seen today. It's a BUSINESS. "He was a warrior..." etc. -- c'mon. Loved Frank as a player, but he signed a contract knowing full well how the Lions do BUSINESS ... should be no surprise or hard feelings.
@TheOnePrideGuy Agree on the Lions front. Respectfully though, the DvsE, although co-op'd by the team was always about the city and not just them or a moment in time. It's a mantra about a city rising from the ashes and a defiance that says "if you ain't with us... " We don't need validation.
