Interesting. It’s actually already a crime to rule over others, privately. Such as theft, unprovoked aggression, kidnapping. Politicians are able to rule over others because those “others” (the majority) want it. And they only want it because they believe the myth of political authority. So it seems unnecessary to make it a crime to be a politician. Rather, help disabuse people of the false belief that they need rulers.

“Roger Sherman’s draft copy of the Declaration is unique. Its inscription, verso, appears to demonstrate an authoritative position for “T.P.”, implying that copying the “original” Declaration draft necessitated permission, or acknowledgment of “T.P.’s” contribution. It behooves scholars of early American history to address the significance of this note and contemplate factors that would necessitate “T.P.’s” permission within the discrete proceedings of the drafting committee.”
