Robbers broke into my house last night, they took my TV, Laptop and Wallet.

I begged one of them to let me pick something from the wallet.

The robber was shocked I only picked my voters card.

I do not think it is wise for a forger to go against the Catholic Church. They know their stuff.
For starters:

Priests are typically university-trained in theology (so they study God and religious doctrine for a living).

Monsignors are often highly educated theologians, with many holding advanced degrees.

Bishops commonly hold doctorates in theology or related fields.

Archbishops are senior figures who can be compared to professors and scholars within the Church’s intellectual hierarchy.

Cardinals serve as the Pope’s closest advisers and are among the most senior authorities in the Catholic Church.

The Pope… well, let’s just leave it as he is the head of Empire. One of the world’s most influential institutions.

And we have not even addressed the monks, Jesuits, friars, Carmelites, Augustinians, nuns, and the many religious orders and confraternities within the Church.

So, technically, the forger without a verified primary and secondary school credentials, and with questions surrounding his university qualification, has no chance in facing a formidable intellectual and institutionalised structure. It may take only one ancient Latin phrase, “Pax quieta” to reset his thinking.

But what do I know? I am just a supernumerary Opus Dei member.

Someone tagged me to a post where a person asked, "What has the Catholic Church done for Nigerians?"

I smiled, because the answer is all around us. For well over a century, the Catholic Church has built and sustained schools, universities, hospitals, clinics, orphanages, rehabilitation centres, rural missions, homes for the elderly, and countless humanitarian programmes that serve and benefit millions of Nigerians both Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

The Church has also been a consistent voice for justice, good governance, peace, and the dignity of every human person.

The Church's impact is too visible to ignore.

What the Church cannot do for you, however, is what rightly belongs to the responsibility of government: provide security, build roads, create sound economic policies, and ensure the welfare of all citizens. That is the duty of the State, not the Church.
