@jeremymerej111@HeyBryceB@big_business_ Wrong. By pulling on his heel, Bam couldn't backpedal with both feet to absorb the fall better. I can pretty much guarantee you that if Ball doesn't trip him up, Bam takes a couple mini steps before hitting the ground and doesn't get hurt. I'm not even a Heat fan.
@Fuzztradomaus@big_business_ Move it the other way then. It was clearly intentional. He did a full swipe through his foot. If he was protecting his hand, he would've pulled his arm upward or inward, not through an obstruction.
@mnlyte @goldenskate I don't know skating but she looked betrer than most. Her movements were stronger and more fluid. I wonder if judges prefer stick figures instead of girls with curves?
@AtlWorlds@TheHoopHerald True. Penny had a higher ceiling. T-Mac had a higher ceiling than both of them though. The spinal defect kept the world from seeing T-Mac reach his peak and sustain it. People were starting to put T-Mac ahead of Kobe before his back took over.
@Mister_MrWolf@TheHoopHerald One of the common misinformed narratives around McGrady. He had a defect in his spine that made it impossible for him to grind the way his mind wanted to. Ask any of his coaches or trainers that worked with him behind the scenes. His back was the problem.
@TheHoopHerald Hill had nothing on T-Mac in terms of total package. Hill didn't have the handles or court vision or scoring package of McGrady. Hill would've been special though. HOF for sure if healthy but he wasn't close to McGrady out of the box.
@TheHoopHerald T-Mac had it all in his bag: 6'8 with handles, PG vision, scoring from all levels plus elite defense. MJ, Kobe and LeBron all were a tick behind him in at least one of those categories. T-Mac the biggest "what if" of all time. The bad spine doomed him.
@TheHoopHerald Tracy McGrady is easily the biggest "what if" of all time. He literally had the total package. Both ends of the court. No weaknesses in his skill set plus prototype measurements and athleticism. The spinal issue doomed his potential out the gate.
@DeeBunked@TheHoopHerald@Tmac_213@FILAUSA@adidas Shoes maybe a factor but T-Mac had that spinal issue from day one. His potential and longevity were doomed out the gate. He was the most gifted of all the "what ifs". He literally had the total package both physicals and skills. T-Mac legit could've been the GOAT π―
