The wonderful @Ausiran_org have started this Gofundme to support the 5 Iranian footballers who have been granted asylum here in Australia. These brave women thought they were just leaving home for a few weeks to play a tournament, but now will have to start their lives again entirely from scratch in a foreign country. Please consider donating, even the smallest amount will make a difference

The death of dictator Khamenei can be a turning point. Iran has a chance to build a secular, democratic government based on freedom. This is not the time for revenge, it is time to stay united and move forward together. #Iran
@KMooreGilbert On what basis did his research conclude Iranians don't want regime change? What sources are you relying on? because people living there see the exact opposite
@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan@rogerwaters You say you've done your esearch and support the current regime. Fair enough, but can you please share your sources? Living through it tells a very different story, and that's a perspective you don't get from the US.
@RitaPanahi So this is what "condemning the regime" means, a 25% tariff on other countries, then everyone feels fine about it. Iran keeps killing its own people, business carries on, and the cost is pushed elsewhere. Thats not real support, its just a price tag.
"Shut the embassies, freeze the assets and put the IRGC on the terrorist list. If you do that, the regime is isolated."
Omid Djallili, actor and comedian, on what the Iranian protesters want.

@LindseyGrahamSC You mean by "support" the 25% tariff the US slaps on any country that trades with the Iranian regime or even negotiates with a regime that kills its own people for peaceful protesting? If thats the benchmark, calling it historic support feels like a pretty long bow to draw.
Iran's regime jams Starlink, exposing @elonmusk internet for everyone as PR fluff while thousands of protesters are being slaughtered. @POTUS says he'll call Elon to fix it. Billionaires talking satellites while people die in the dark #DigitalBlackoutIran#IranProtests#Freedom
@KMooreGilbert There's no internal or external military aid for regime change in Iran because the regime tightly controls its forces, and outsiders won't intervene unless there's a clear benefit for them – like oil or direct strategic gain and in Iran the risks far outweigh any payoff 💔
Australia, Canada & the EU condemn the killing of protesters, the use of violence, arbitrary arrests and intimidation tactics by the Iranian regime. We commend the bravery of the Iranian people and call on Iran to end the use of excessive and lethal force. https://t.co/S2bQrTaxDc
Censorship and internet shutdowns are used to silence my people in Iran, but their demand for freedom remains strong. Standing with them for a free, secular Iran . #WomanLifeFreedom#FreedomForIran#IranProtests
The Iranian people have been hostages of their regime for decades, brutalised, silenced, and abandoned. And when the bombs start flying, it’s never for them. No one comes to help. They get crushed twice, by their rulers and by foreign "attacks" #HumanRights#JusticeForIran
@KMooreGilbert@abcnews@TheLyonsDen The IRGC exists to uphold the regime and the principles of the Islamic Revolution, not to protect the Iranian people. This distinction is crucial for accurate reporting and public understanding
Congratulations to Janine Mohamed on her well-deserved selection #AusoftheYear ! Her dedication to fighting racism and improving health outcomes for Australia's Indigenous communities is commendable
