@TolleEnthusiast Not saying he doesn’t deserve to be in there over Gasper, but he has been far from a solid defender or hitter this season. That said it does no good keeping him on the bench
@redsoxstats@timbhealey Listening to Sox Prospects pod they said it was maybe never going to work with Tibbs due to their difference in opinions on hitting approach. The same philosophy that drove Durbin outside the organization to start seeing results. This Breslow’s team is a clown show.
@tominquincy@TonyMassarotti@bigjimmurray@Marc_Bertrand@MattMcCarthy985 Right with you Tom. It’s so funny that Durbin’s struggles were cited as a reason why Breslow fired the hitting staff and a month later he seeks outside help and he starts to get results. Shouldn’t that should be a red flag to their entire hitting philosophy? I mean c’mon!
@jsgiii22661 I was convinced Roman signed his deal. cause he knows that he’s prone to injuries. Remember he signed right around the time he missed games for a back issue last season. And so far that’s what it’s been.
@hiddenregions I’d say it’s also player evaluation and not resigning Schwarber—who is only the best HR hitter in baseball since he left. The 2022 offseason was a major fail to capitalize on their out of nowhere run in 2021. And this past offseason as well.
@BallParkBuzz They clearly mis evaluated the players that were dealt to Chicago for Crochet. Should’ve been Mayer and Campbell. That’s the issue with this whole organization. Player evaluation.
