Thank you Linus Ullmark
You had a personally challenging season
You have been lights out this postseason
The team did not show up for you
On behalf of the fans, we are sorry
@TSN1200 Someone smarter than me should create a chart to show how many points the top players in the NHL scored on the Ottawa Senators at 5 v. 5 when Shane Pinto was on the ice against them.
@senstalk_ Totally agree.
Toronto media can't handle the Leafs' demise and since misery loves company so they try to sabotage the Sens bright future get try to keep themselves relevant.
A message to the self-serving Toronto Media:
KEEP OUR CAPTAIN'S NAME OUT YOUR F*ing MOUTH!
@clahanna@clahanna I think many would be interested to see if Brady or Green weigh in on if last night was the 1st game Brady was medically cleared to fight.
If so, it took him 0:01 to scratch that itch.
Also could (should) pacify those critics about his recent effort level and jam.
Legitimately - and I mean this with full respect to the Women who play hockey.
But if it were full contact and no mercy rule....the US Men's Team would not allow the US Women's Team to get a single shot on net and the score would be at least at a rate of 2 goals a minute....so at least 120-0.
Not even joking.
They are stronger, faster, harder in every facet of the game and the Women wouldn't be able to react quick enough to make any plays, much less scoring a goal.
And until people actually understand and accept this - then @Riley_Gaines_ and her crusade will seem controversial - but it's just a biological fact.
And that's OK...or at least - the world needs to learn to be OK with that fact.
@KeithOlbermann@BuffaloSabres Fixed your spelling mistakes, Keith.
Hi I'm Tage Thompson of the @BuffaloSabres and I will say this to anyone who criticizes my freedom of speech and expression...."BRING IT!" (probably)
@DefenseMinister ...or maybe as the goalie (and strong contender for the MVP of the Olympics) the Jets have afforded him a game to decompress and 'be ready to play Friday in ANA'.
He likely would have been the back up tonight anyway
Or...OR...everyone can respect him as an autonomous individual and understand his right to vote, believe, and do whatever he feels is in his best interest.
Just because someone disagrees with something someone does - doesn't mean they're right because your feelings may be hurt.
He plays hockey for the Ottawa Senators and does so with ferocious passion and determination.
Its why we love him as our captain.
He is not a politician, he doesn't vote on policy, he is an American and a proud one - and if the President invites you to the White House I can't see there being a higher honor and privilege as an American.
Let him have his well-deserved and well-earned moment as an American and let him seamlessly transition into the warrior for the Sens we know he will be.
That's not how it played out.
The US is not nearly the underdog they were in '80.
As a Canadian I could see that the US team are a wagon.
This was an amazing game and I am not a fan of the result but it wasn't "shocking" the US won for anyone who follow the game closely.
Too bad all this nonsense is clouding the game and the US team's historic win
A sustained rival on the ice is great for the game of hockey.
Congrats @usahockey - well deserved.
...but be ready for everything we have in 2030 to get that medal back. :)
