@SamRo Portugal v Croatia - super high quality match to watch. TV doing a great job capturing the excitement on the field and the emotions of the fans in the crowd. Why do these matches seem to be more entertaining than say the Olympics? Prob the venues, fans, and the games.

@cullenroche One other fix - one overtime period and in the second overtime the number of players for each team on the field goes from 10 to 5, and first goal wins. Better spacing, increase chance at scoring. (hockey does this) Get rid of the shootout - unfair way to determine winner.

@AmyLundyDahl The ONLY way for an older player to play top 20 level tennis is to work super hard at fitness (like Novak). If you don't - your footwork is slow. You can have many moments of your younger self, but over a match - you fail. Serena may know this, but she plays for other reasons?

@KurtSupeCPA Many retirees do this - a wisdom learned over years -gossip about who has money in the family is not helpful to family dynamics - even close families. You can do this and have a smooth end of life transition of assets by sharing your FAs info / basic plan details w key family.

@TKopelman Diversification recommendations like this all depend on how you cherry pick the data timeframe. Select the last 50 or 100 years your recommendation is sound. Select the most recent ten years, or five years and being overweight large cap US companies / Big Tech makes sense.

@dampedspring Scratching my head at the five task forces. All good leaders know creating a task force is a tactic to slow change and control change, not a tactic to improve. Best way to kill a good idea - assign a task force to study it.

@elerianm Steve Jobs killed all "task forces" at Apple. He knew the best way to slow change, slow improvement - assign it to a task force. I laughed when Kevin created five task forces at the Fed. Every good leader knows this is an internal tactic of control - not to solve problems.

@awealthofcs I laughed at his five task forces. When I worked in government, we knew the best delay tactic on a proposal (that cost too much money) was to create a "task force" to study it. That way slowed or killed any good idea. The bigger the task force membership the better.

@BullandBaird One could argue the greatest gift was to those that refinanced at 3%. If you purchased a home with a new mortgage at 3% - the price you paid (higher) reflected the availability of super low mortgage rates.

@TKopelman It's because bonus income often varies a lot year to year. If you get great news on a big bonus, after paying taxes it feels like you lost some of that great feeling because you jumped to a higher bracket. It is a feeling based on fact.
