I’d love to see a venn diagram of where people land on both of these issues

People are clearly split on this issue. Reminds me of the divide between those who take off their shoes in the house and those who don’t.

I can't believe I fell for the lie that you're not supposed to rinse dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. I tested this out this morning. I now have dishes and bowls with food fully dried into them.

Has anyone figured out a way to cook food at home so that it doesn’t feel like you cooked food at home? That’s my favorite thing about going out to eat

"This month’s decline in the Current Conditions subindex was driven entirely by buying conditions for durables, which plunged 18% on the basis of higher interest rates and rising concerns about the affordability of such purchases. Purchasing power continues to dominate consumer views of the economy. Sentiment is now 10% below a year ago and 15% less than February, just prior to the Iran conflict." - UMich consumer sentiment

CVS app is amazing. It’ll tell you if it’s cheaper to buy the your prescribed medication without your insurance, which happened to be the case for something I just picked up. Btw, health insurance companies are committing fraud.

The McRib is coming back as early as 10/27 in select McDonald's restaurants across the US.

The legend says that the McRib first came to life to compensate for... a McNugget shortage issue! Apparently, McNuggets had become so wildly popular that our supply could not keep up with demand. So we needed a new recipe with another protein to give us a bit of time to bring in more McNuggets.

The McRib was created IN 1981 by René Arend, a Luxembourgish-American chef who became our very first executive "chef".

What was a temporary solve quickly became a cult classic, with fans begging for its return every year. Funny enough, over the years, the McRib has found new meaning online within the crypto community, as some claim Bitcoin tends to perform well after the McRib makes a comeback, particularly in 2017, 2020, 2021. The joke reached its peak in December 2024 when Bitcoin broke $100,000 for the first time in history on the exact same day the McRib returned to menus.

Welcome back, Legend!

So far there are few signs that the second derivative in earnings estimates is slowing down. The expected growth rate for both 2026 and 2027 EPS is still advancing.

SCOOP: The State Dept has started asking career diplomats up for promotion if they voted for Trump in 16, 20, 24.

Federal law prohibits politically based hiring for career staff.

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.

The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.

Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.

Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

A group dispatched by Hegseth's team in February attempted to move the historic globe, said to be used by Eisenhower during World War II.

They lifted it from its home in an Army office in the Pentagon ... and dropped it.
