@_SeanOGrady Good piece. First step - cease all mention of the 'special relationship '. This was only ever a temporary military marriage of convenience. It has long been a comfort blanket for the UK, and a source of bafflement for the US.
@DrMatthewSweet@BBCRadio3 What a loss. I've stopped the car to listen to your show, no higher accolade, believe me. The show has always added to the sum of human kindness and understanding. I'll miss it, and you. Thank you.
@DyfiOspreys Brilliant reward for all the hard work at DOP, apart from anything else. And to all those who worried about Bobby Bach, just remember the ospreys have been doing this for 500 million years, and know a thing or two about being ospreys.
@mrmarksteel The contribution to the war effort via Bletchley Park was very significant. Recruitment was unashamedly old boys' network, but it worked. Apologies for a serious suggestion, but the 'funny' ones are so crap I had to do it.

The joys of osprey parenthood. Woodland Trust Arkaig site: Louis doing his bit, delivering nice brown trout to the nest; Darach expresses thanks by seizing Louis' leg and attacking him beakwise; Louis escapes and dreams of African solitude. Kids, eh?
@nedboulting Words, words... much more than that. Memories over 40 years of windows on lives beyond your day-to-day. And such good fun! A beautiful film, thank you.
@itvcycling Loved to hear Phil talking about Paul. And I can't believe it really is the start of the last week. The memories will linger on... Thanks so much to everyone for everything, it's been brill.

@DyfiOspreys It must take him at least 15 seconds from river to nest in each direction, which only leaves around 30 seconds to do the fishing. Amazing!
