The NSW Gov and Premier Perrottet are gaslighting workers, unions, the public and media.

6) The Gov never intended to do a deal with unions. They reneged on nearly every promise - this thread only covers the biggest. (We have the 'receipts' from every time they did this.)

A deliberate campaign against workers.

They left workers with no choice but to strike.

5) Now today, story in the Tele saying the NSW Gov is "fed up" with unions holding people "to ransom" and they will take court action to terminate workers right to industrial action.

Accompanied by op-ed from the Premier himself.

But hang on - did they manufacture this outcome?

4) So now we come to last Friday. Gov launches massive PR campaign saying they have put a deal to unions to end the disputes, and how generous they are for "compromising" on intercity train dispute.

The "deal" was a verbal promise. When Unions ask Gov to sign it, they refuse.

3) On Wednesday last week, the Gov agreed to a deed to fix the intercity trains.

Unions asked to make it an enforceable deed. The Gov refuses to sign it.

2) In May, the Gov committed to safety improvements to new intercity trains in exchange for certain union actions.

Unions agreed.

Two weeks later the NSW Gov reneged on their commitment despite unions following through on our side of the deal.

1) In Feb, the Gov met with unions and said they want to "reset" negotiations and provide an independent arbitrator - and they'll send us a proposal.

3 days later they filed court action against unions.

6 days later they shut down the rail system and tried to blame unions.

THREAD: It was reported extensively on Friday that the NSW Government had put a deal to rail workers to end the train dispute.

Today it's reported the Gov will commence action to terminate rail unions RIGHT to strike.
