@thejournal_ie 20-30% of a cars lifetime emissions are from the production process. Scraping perfectly good cars for newer ones does not make sense. Consumer culture is killing the environment and scrappage schemes ruin the entry level second hand car market
@Domjb03 I do really like the UK especially Scotland but Ireland is a bit better. The knife crime culture situation in certain parts of England just doesnโt really exist in the same way here. The economy is better here although things are more expensive and the GDP statistics are nonsense
@DonJoe35146382@deirdrenugent4 I share a 4 bed house with 3 lads and the gas/electricity are bimonthly 50-200 depending on the time of year. Idk how you could be paying that much. The house isnโt particularly modern and isnโt small either
@heybaby12962@uncreativetom Americans think everywhere is rude because they donโt understand cultural differences. When we go to America the customer service is strange to us, they talk as if every customer is a special ED kids first day. We accept itโs a weird cultural thing and yous are friendly normally
@heybaby12962@uncreativetom The nature is nice but so is nature almost everywhere else. Anything human inhabited in America is shit, just parking lot and concrete slop
@AnalogousPantsV@Schilted@turningmystile Because the houses are built to trap heat you dumb fuck. The outside temperatures are fine, theyโre lovely. Climate change means that the way houses used to be built is no longer suitable for summer conditions. People complaining regularly holiday in warmer places lmao
@muffgangV2 Would you enjoy if Minecraft gave you diamonds and elytras at the start? Call of duty giving you all the guns camos perks and attachments? Need for speed starting you off in a 911 or M3 GTR instead of a Peugeot 206 or Golf GTI?
Same concept
