Today has been a difficult day in Ukraine after a massive Russian strike. There were many ballistic missiles and drones. Now air-raid alerts are active across various regions too. And once again, we are facing aerial threats. Just today, Russian strikes have taken 22 lives in Kyiv and Dnipro, including children. We are doing everything to protect our people, our cities, and our communities. And we are grateful to those who are helping us. Ukraine is grateful to Italy. We deeply value that you care, that you want peace for us, and see the defense of Kyiv’s independence and freedom as your cause. Together, we will certainly achieve this.

I congratulate Italy, President Mattarella @Quirinale, President of the Council of Ministers @GiorgiaMeloni, and all Italian people on the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic. Freedom is an achievement that must be defended every day.

Unfortunately, the current level of supplies for our air defense does not allow us to intercept a significant share of missiles. Last night, there were hits. 130 people were injured. Tragically, 22 people were killed, including two children. My condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones.

We know from intelligence that another large-scale strike may come as soon as tonight. All our partners together, and everyone in Europe, should continue working to ensure missiles for our air defense, as well as the systems, critical intelligence, and other things that help to save lives.

It is crystal clear that Europe needs its own anti-ballistic system with sufficient volumes and strength to guarantee protection against any threat.

🤯 104 geolocated strikes on Russian logistics.

In addition to the main strikes on the M14 and N20 highways, attacks are also being carried out against logistics routes in the Luhansk Oblast and Kherson Oblast regions.

Today, the 3rd Army Corps published footage showing Hornets flying directly over Luhansk.

The majority of the geolocations were identified by @clement_molin ; I added around 10–15 new locations myself.

Russia is now threatening other nearby countries far more openly than before. Every neighbor of Russia heard what was said about Armenia, whose people are the only ones who have the right to decide and will choose the future of their country. What Russia says about Armenia is, in truth, not about Armenia alone.

No one can be left without support – Europe has no right to lose any of its peoples, to leave any country behind. Armenia must be supported. Moldova must be supported. The Baltic states. Azerbaijan must be supported. We must find ways to support the people of Georgia as well – and this is a shared European task. No one can be lost.

We held a special meeting on our next steps.

First – diplomacy. We are in contact almost every day with envoys of the President of the United States and our European partners. We noted how the situation with air defense supplies – and our arrangements more broadly – unfolds. We set priorities for the coming weeks: antiballistic capabilities, bilateral documents on drone production and supply – including a Drone Deal with the European Union – and preparations for meetings in several formats. We are preparing for important negotiations – for now, without public details.

Second �� we must continue the humanitarian track, the exchanges that had already been agreed upon. I instructed the team to contact partners who can now help step up the necessary mediation.

Third – there will be new decisions in support of Ukraine, including for our energy sector. We are finalizing the details. Glory to Ukraine!

Провели спеціальну нараду щодо наших подальших дій.

Перше: дипломатія. Майже щодня на звʼязку з представниками Президента Сполучених Штатів та європейськими партнерами. Зафіксували, що зараз відбувається з постачанням ППО та загалом з нашими домовленостями. Визначили пріоритети на наступні кілька тижнів: антибалістика, двосторонні документи щодо виробництва і постачання дронів, зокрема Drone Deal з Євросоюзом, та підготовка зустрічей в кількох форматах. Готуємось до важливих перемовин – наразі без публічних деталей.

Друге: треба продовжити гуманітарний трек, ті обміни, про які вже була домовленість. Доручив сконтактувати з партнерами, які зараз можуть активізувати необхідне посередництво.

Третє: будуть нові рішення на підтримку України, зокрема нашої енергетики. Фіналізуємо деталі. Слава Україні!
